I can sometimes get Zoom and the camera to connect once, and then the next time it won’t work again and sometimes Zoom gives a “can’t connect with the camera” message. I’ve followed all the steps above, even reinstalled Zoom twice and tested on two different search engines (Google Chrome and Edge). My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 15 running Windows 10 and Windows 365. It only started last weekend after Friday evening Microsoft updates. I appear to be having the same problem posted by Claire on 10/22/21. Install it by running the installer package you have just downloaded. Find the latest webcam driver for your laptop and download it.ģ. Go to your laptop manufacturer’s website.Ģ. You can update the webcam driver manually also.ġ. Then you need to click on “ Scan for hardware changes“.Īfter installing the webcam driver, open the Zoom app, and check if you are still facing the same problem or not. If rebooting your computer didn’t install the camera driver then you have to install the driver yourself. This will install the uninstalled camera driver. In the next steps, we are going to install the webcam driver again.
The webcam driver will be uninstalled from your computer. Finally, click on “ Uninstall” to confirm the camera device uninstallation.
